Nose seems empty, with disjointed notes of campfire smoke and cola. Palate shows light, perfumed flavours of rose, strawberry, and fennel seed. A lick of tart acidity gives a clean finish.

Give Your Own Review (Farpointe Cellar) : Lots of red fruit on the nose, mixed with subtle hints of cedar and spice. Soft and smooth on the palate, the acidity was nice. It had nice red fruit and a little barnyard. The spice on the mid-palate was followed by a good cedar finish.

No formal notes. Interesting wine given the price. Would buy again.

Opens with an aroma akin to bitter dark chocolate, then unfolds with meat and herbal notes. Flavors of dark fruit and plum, with a nice finish.

Completely agree with the buttered popcorn smell. My wife really likes this wine for the price. To me it's just okay, but probably a decent value for $10.

Buttery nose. Just a hint of light fruit at the very beginning then it turns to mostly soft alcohol. Left my mouth moderately dry.

I rather like this wine . . . very enjoyable for $10. Plum and tobacco on the nose. Lovely berry fruit -- smooth tannins. Surprisingly balanced for the price. Salud!

Disjointed. Muted fruit. I threw the rest of the bottle out after tasting.

Buttered popcorn in the nose. Palate is cocoa and coffee. Palate is a little weak and flabby but Sharon really liked it. Regardless your $10 buys a lot of character.

Poured at a small Friday night tasting at Gibby's. Ruby color. Aromas of blackberry, plum and earth. Elegant velvety texture, with very pleasant plum and and red fruit flavors. Well balanced, with a nice finish.

Deep ruby color. Lots of vanilla, touch of black fruit. Very smooth on the palate. Relatively simple but nice.
