Quady North Syrah 4-2, A

Smoky and peppery up front. Not great at the back of the mouth but interesting and complex enough to make up for it.

1st bottle @ home 4/19 was a bit disappointing, lacking some flavor [87]. Last bottle 3/20 much more flavorful (better than the 15 Carlisle Rosella we had last week) Savory meaty/bacon on the nose w a hint of orange blossom. Flavor is complex and meanders through cherry, mint/citrus, some floral orange blossom & just a hint of smoke. Long pleasant finish [92]
