Very in-keeping with the '72 vintage, though not the shrill, crazy acidity that pokes out on so many. The aromas are whispy, piquant, high-toned featuring a haunting spicy/citrus top note that develops into more sweet complexity. Delicate in the best way possible!! The tannins have completely resolved and while the acidity is high, there is enough midpalate complexity to make this, indeed, very FINE.
