Quite nice blend of Nero d’Avola and Nerello Mascalese, from Sicily. Pleasant aromas of dark cherry, plum and dark chocolate. The taste has flavours of raisins, ripe cherry, dark chocolate, orange. A bit short finish with not much tannins and a medium+ acidity. No complexity, a bit one-dimensional, but definitely not bad either. 13% - gift from colleague (his favourite house wine)
