Toretti's Family Vineyard Pinot Noir

This was decanted for over two hours before drinking. This was a bit clunky and upfront for a bit, but after 4ish hours of air it rounded out into tones of plums, bright red cherries, raspberries, sour berries, rose petals, baking spices, herbs, and licorice. Red fruit and spice, med + acid, well balanced, somewhat short finish

Nice mix of earthy and berry and vanilla notes with a bright finish

Brought by a friend for me to taste after having most of the bottle last night at dinner. This was a very fruit forward warmer climate Cali Pinot that is lightly sweet. Modest in acidity and full of strawberry and cherry fruit. Low tannin, very fruity, lacking in the kind of minerality that cooler climate Pinot's have from places like Oregon, Burgundy, etc. Easy to drink and pleasant enough but not a long aging wine it seems to me.
