Excellent concentration of fruit, but marred by obvious oak. Too much for my taste. A shame because the fruit and mouth feel are definately there in this one, maybe a little more time will settle the oak down. My wife liked this better than I did.

Started out on evening with overwhelming fruit and I was thinking that it needed another two years in the cellar - Vacuvin pumped for storing overnight. Next afternoon opened and it was a completely different wine much more balanced and excelent presentation. If openned earlier than 2007, I would decant and give it an hour pluls to breath.

Liking this Cab more and more. Good value for the money and should get better with age. Buy 5 and drink one or two.

Heavy nose and starts well with hints of blackberry and a trace of oak. Not much tanin "taste" and is very smooth in the middle with a very short finish. Very nice and should drink well for the next 3-4 years but not much use in waiting longer.

EOTC $15-30 Open-label California Cab tasting (Katrina & Ryan's) : Every Other Tasting Club. Dark red, solid legs. Nose of cedar. Oaky, blackberry. Round but with a little backbone. Slightly sweet.
