Ripe and juicy from the first pour. It showed black cherry and black olive tapenade and became earthy with air as well as becoming tannic.

Very well made and enjoyable. Much firmer and more structured than the '18 Al Forte, but still quite accessible with silky tannins and refreshing acidity. Delicate and weightless on the palate.

Le Pianelle Tasting with Cristiano Garella (Dig Wines) : Intense aromatics, strawberry but with some iron soil, earthy; palate is medium bodied, high tannin, earthy, youthful; medium-minus finish. Needs time or a bit more for drinking now, may age well. 90-?
