AP Vin, Trick Law Syrah, Paso Robles

Pnp, dark fruit with a good weight on the palate. If you have it in your cellar, time to drink up!

Started out a little tight, but opened up a ton by the second day. Dark ruby color. Dark, brambly fruit, blackberry and loganberry. Tobacco, leather, Chinese 5-spice secondary notes, wrapped up with an oak finish. Never would have guessed this to be a Syrah (50%) or GSM blend, but interesting and enjoyable nonetheless. 8/18/2023 Double down on the need to decant. Really tight when opened. 1/12/2025 Bottle time seems to have softened it a little. Lots of bramble and meatiness.

Wind berry, wild cherry, wild everything. Smoke, meat, pepper, bay leaf, eucalyptus, all of it, wild wild wild.
