Domaine Albin Jacumin Côtes du Rhône Les Bédines

This smoothie aged like it had overly good genes. Had the first sips at a hot picnic and the rest at a nice indoor dinner. First off, surprising fruit - blackberry, rhubarb, herbs and roasted cashews. Second, the nose was still seductive with hints of gravel and creeping thyme. But the finish on the wine at 8 years was noteworthy, especially considering its affordability. I’m a fan.
