Ch�teau du Hureau Saumur-Champigny Fours � Chaux

Fully mature. Leafy red fruits, fading to amber. Nice autumnal sous bois.

Light, vibrant fruit. Classic cab franc. Give it a couple more years.

Green in a positive, restrained way. Light, elegant, refreshing, and fantastic for the money. Probably better for earlier drinking.

I enjoyed this quite a bit. Red and black fruits and a hint of bell pepper. Tannins were round and easy, and this bottle went pretty fast. I tend to like my Loire reds a little less polished, but this worked really well.
