Sizable bubbles with a bitter aftertaste. This is my second bottle (had the first a year ago) and the bitter note is still distinct. Unsure if this will get any better with time.

Light nose of creamy biscuit and soft apple. Citric palate and slightly tart finish.

Just a hint of sound when opened - wine spouted in glass - light colour but not a bubble in sight - taste flat and slightly bitter - flawed

Lovely wine from Gratien but a slight bitter kept creeping in with the finish. The 2006 is still better no doubt

Lovely nose, green fruit, slight gunpowder, pepper and popcorn. M body, more dry spice, slight mellon note to go with alight green apples.

Light gold in the glas. Pretty closed at first, but after som swirls; Butter, minerals and apples on the nose. Dry. Crisp and youthfull acidety. Large bubbles. Citrus and apple on the palate. Butter and vanilla. Complex mouthfeel. Long, citric, exit. A delicious Champagne, and definetly BftB🍾🍾🍾

Not a style I enjoyed TBH . Found it too tart but can see this will be great for others. Very green apple and lemon sherbet. Lovely yeasty nose but there was a bitterness that threw everything out of balance.

Medium gold colour. Medium (+) nose with green apples, ripe lemon, toast, bread, wet stone and brioche.medium (+) taste of green apples, ripe lemon, toast, brioche, walnuts, biscuits and wet stone. Small and lively bubbles. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good and well made Vintage Champagne. Will benefit from storage, but can be opened now. Goes well as an aperitif, of with fish or shellfish.

92+ Since the fantastic 2006 vintage I am an Alfred Gratien fan and was very happy to finally try the 2007 Vintage. At first I was a bit afraid because I like champagnes with some bottle age to it and this one was just very recent. But this was unfounded... The first impression after opening the bottle was ... BAM vanilla, wood which slowly opened up for fruit puree and mirabelle. I tried one first glass and then left it …

First time I try to taste Grand Cru Champagne with age... almost 22 years old champagne, and wow what a taste. As the calendar went by it seems like the nutty and buttery notes of the flavour profile has intensified significantly - So intense and fat but and still with fruit and acidity. This is truly amazing Champagne and hopefully not the last time I taste something so special. Don't know if my Grand Cru's in the cellar will age …

Fresh, vibrant, mouthfilling and complex. Lots of life left here. Will give many grand marqués a run for their money. It's cost makes many seem overpriced.

Small batch Champagne. Blend of Pinot Meunier 40%, Pinot Noir 25%, and Chardonnay 35%. Light and delicate. Pears and cassis. Fine bubbles.
