Mineral buzz, zippy acidity, lemon/lime palate with white pepper on the finish.

Still bright and floral with sea salt aromas, but I get more nutty notes, pineapple and honey. Calmer, still racy acidity, I taste dried apricot and limes, but more accentuated are the mineral notes and the dried honey and potpourri. Still plenty alive, I like where this is going and would love to taste it again in a few more years. 100% Viura fermented in old oak vats.

Tasted blind. Appearance is clear, very light intensity, pale yellow colour. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of intense saline minerality and slate/stone, with hints of citrus. On the palate, brilliant bright high acidity, medium- body, medium finish. Flavours of intense salty saline minerality dominating, with just a bit of citrus fruit and some pear/stone fruit in the background. Some bitter-sweet flavour on the mid-palate also. Very nice drinking, but I would have preferred more fruit to balance the …

Opened up nicely. nose with floral and honey. Complex flavors starting with peach, slightly bitter mid palatte and finishing fresh-citrus.

Typical Viura but also elegantly fresh - very mineral, almost a bit spicy. Fermantation is done under 13 degrees and yeast has to be added.

pale golden color. similar to a slightly buttery chardonnay; good acid, mild flavors. maybe try with a mild sausage or shrimp paella, throw a little fruit in too, maybe. :)

A bit austere, although we drank if after an excellent Allende bianco which is really very good indeed and so it wasn't an entirely fair test. Worth the money, although I'd probably spend an extra fiver and get a decent Chablis.
