I was looking for a "classic" tasting Napa Cab to accompany my mesquite grilled flat iron steak and home grown grilled artichokes. I picked this wine from the cellar that I purchased at the winery a few years ago. Good choice. It is totally hitting its stride and represents Napa Cab well. Dark cherry, toasty cedar, and smooth mouthfeel. Vibrant acidity on the finish. Sweet gripping tannins.

Not bad, but nothing special. Red fruit, earth, mild smooth tannins.

Wonderful value for a mid-20's bottle. Although nothing blew me away it's a great bottle you could enjoy at any occasion and never be disappointed.

P and P... red fruits on the nose, with a little earthiness. Taste yields smooth tannins; cassis, plum, leather flavors; medium body, good finish. Acid seemed a bit high...Will benefit from a little more cellar age as it becomes a little better integrated/balanced. Good QPR.

Agree with others......soft nose, but full bodied with lots of cherry and blueberry....bit of a weak finish but overall a very tasty and drinkable wine.

Fresh aromas of cherry and a little herb. Soft on the palate with pure cherry flavors and mild tannins. Very easy to drink. Very food friendly.

picked up at Costco on the spur of the moment -- easy drinker - very smooth and understated, actually a bit too much for my taste - perfectly nice wine, but almost like it is missing a bit of something, just doesn't really stand out - prefer my cabs to be a bit chewier. Would buy again at $15 price range, but not in the mid-$20s (which is where I bought it).

Got at Costco and saw RP 92+ so I wanted to try. We had with roast chicken - It was good but not what I expected. Had the full body, was dark. Easy to drink but not just wonderful. I would not buy again.

Soft on nose ond on palate; nice balance, depth and length of finish. More restrained than I expected, very drinkable

Westwood CC October Wine Tasting (Westwood CC, Vienna VA) : after so many of the wines in this tasting had been closed and unexpressive, this one screamed Napa from the first sniff. very expressive nose and a rich full mouthfeel. would have been a 90 but for just a tiny hint of medicine on the finish which did not present on every sip but was definitely there more than once over the course of a half glass.
