Tselepos Domaine Tselepos Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot

17 October vertical tasting 1994-2005 at WSET Athens Greece. Colour is garnet - slightly more hazy than in other vintages. Medium intensity of aromas with dried nuts, biscuits and flowers besides the jammy fruit, cedar, ink, and coffee notes. Despite its maturity fruit is lively. Palate is sweet with ripe and dried fruit, cedar and bitter chocolate. Tannins were soft and acidity balanced the whole nicely. High quality greek Cabernet-Merlot blend, mature but capable of keeping.
