Crunchy red fruit, dirt, mint, tapers off towards the finish with sharp acidity and a near-effervescence. Extremely food friendly, this is going with anything. Solid value at around $20.

On day one, a nose of fresh tilled earth, dark berry, stone fruit, white pepper, and violets. A quaffing-style Mencia... young, fresh, easy going. Upon opening, the nose is loaded with wet earth. This subsided and beautiful red fruit abounds. Much the same on the palate - earthiness takes center stage but just for a moment as luscious cherry and berry flavors rush in, backed by a nice acidity and a mineral streak which runs solidly to the finish (which is a little short, but pleasant).
