Good bottle. Mature Cab notes of cigar box, black currant, nicely integrated structure, silky black fruit. Ripe, black fruit, not tired or dried out at all. Lightning in a bottle--ymmv based on bottle variation, as I found on the first bottle.

Decent, a bit past peak, but good varietal character. Blackberry, olive, cedar. Full bodied, rustic and showing some dried fruit in the background. Finishes with dark fruit and cedar.

Vintage Spring Mountain fruit for $28??? Yes please! This was an elegant drinking cab. Secondary characteristics were really shining through - licorice root, vanilla, mint, sage, and blackberries. Decanted for a bit, and as it sat, the fruit started to come through. Velvety texture and a 30 second finish. Drink up!
