Põhjala & To Øl Cellar Series Taanilinn

Batch 548. Best before Nov 7th, 2020. Consistent with my previous tasting notes. This is pretty ridiculously massive stuff. A spicy black chocolate bomb. Only the carbonation feels a little bit lower and softer than previously. Recommended.

14% alcohol. Almost completely opaque dark chocolate brown color with moderate and quite short-lived head reminiscent of espresso crema. The nose is sweet, intense and very concentrated with a whiff of alcohol and incredibly rich aromas of chocolate ganache, hot chocolate, some spicy wood, a little bit of vanilla, a hint of prunes and a touch of sweet liqueur.
