Still going strong. This could age another 5-8 years I feel. Great weeknight drinker though when you want to save your fancy bottles for the weekend.

One hour decant. Deep dark magenta color. Black cherry, pomegranate, and vanilla cream cheese on the rich nose. Dry, velvety palate, with great acidity. Full tannins on the longish finish. This is drinking in prime time now.

Two hour decant. Very deep ruby magenta color. Wild strawberry, blackberry, ginger, peony, orange rind, and subtle baking spice on the aromatic, fruit forward nose. Smooth, dry palate, with zesty acidity. Full tannins on the longish finish. This is a terrific drinker. It’s surprisingly complex for the price point.

Loved it. Outstanding wine. Fabulous aromas and ripe and flavorful on the palate. Good dry tannic finish. Couldn’t put the glass down.

Consistent with prior notes. Needs to be open a few hours to really open up right now though.

Deep purplish ruby red. Dark baking spice box on the nose with dark bitter cocoa, black currants, and blueberries. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Dark cherries on the palate with some cinnamon, nutmeg and tobacco. Long finish. Drink till 2029.

Bright red fruit, perhaps a trifle sweet yet, but tasty.

2019 Spring tasting. Nothing special to note. Seems to be some leftover juice from several sites.

2019 Spring tasting. A blend of different sites. You would be better off buying a ten year old bordeaux for $65 than drinking this wine. Group assessment was the same.

Light menthol, plum & blueberry burst from the glass followed by cedar, allspice and a hint of caramel. Medium-full bodied with plum, blueberry, black currant, cocoa, and spice on the palate. The merlot really shines through this vintage. Fantastic QPR!
