Domaine Bruno Sorg, Riesling Pfersigberg

Disappointing. I don't know if this is typical of the wine since I had never tried it before, but it is so dry as to be positively flat and boring. Perfectly drinkable and not unpleasant, it does have some good citrus notes on the attack but then it rather fades off into the distance. It just lacks freshness and complexity - which is rather a lot.

So subtle, a touch of citrus but really shy; flat - not a good sample.
