Funkier than the 2013 Mont Olivet old vine Côtés du Rhone alongside. Attractive young vine fruit. A bit short but a tasty and pleasurable drink.

Darker than I would have expected, but lively and vibrant. Nose: very fragrant, blackberries, blackcurrant, liquorice, cherries, even a hint of olives. Also spices, floral notes. Mostly fruit on palate, tannins and acidity nicely balanced, medium finish. Nice, good QPR.
