(Tasted Blind) A mid ruby with aromas of Montmorency cherry, leather and oak spices. The nose presents typical Sangiovese aromas of ripe cherries, complemented by subtle oaky notes. The palate has a fresh acidity with sour cherry and, again, some furfurol char-ry notes whilst vanilla tones rise, and there are a little red berries that join the party.
