Drink now! Drink dates say it is past due. It was decent but definitely fading.

Decanted about 30 minutes. Didn't need the air but a bit of sediment. Mature cab profile, and doesn't seem past due. Would recommend drinking in 2019, unless you have enough to evaluate for yourself and your storage. Certainly no need to wait. Still very glad I bought a case!

PnP. Inky deep maroon in color. Fruit has taken a backseat on the nose. Cedar upfront, with ripe plums following behind. Good mouthfeel...slightly viscous without being cloying. Enjoyed in a Riedel Vivant Bordeaux stemless at 68F...much warmer than I would have liked.

Finally I get the difference in aging between young cabs and mature cabs. I've had mature cabs before, but this is the first time I've had the same wine young and not. This has crossed from too-tannic-need-to-decant to basically ready and seeming it. I decanted about 30 minutes but I'm not sure it needed it. Hard for me to tell, but my cellaring is iffy warm, so unless you are 52F on the dot I would be inclined to drink …

I found this to be a wonderful everyday Summer wine. Cameron Hughes is also one of the wines where I often get more than I pay for... but the LOT has much to do with that. For me it offers one of the best price/taste trade offs. Why? Because each lot is a different "over stock" from another winery's juice. Kind of like a treasure hunt with benefits! From time to time I get a $30 bottle, once I felt …

Enjoyed this wine, although might be better in a couple years. For the price, good value.

Very nice. Big, but not overwhelming fruit. Great balance.

Initial impression, BIG WINE! Inky dark with garnet hue, blue and purple fruit on the nose, ripe fruit and milk chocolate, nice finish. Well done, a gem in the chwine. Glad I still have two more!

Decanted 4 hrs, semi-transparent ruby color, light nose, medium mouthfeel, medium length finish with some heat/sourness, pretty simple wine but pretty good QPR for $14, rated 2 pts below consensus due to finish.

Decanted 2 hours, semi-transparent ruby color, light nose, lighter mouthfeel than expected, silky tannins/oak, medium+ length finish, basic everyday drinker, just enough structure to keep interesting, nothing objectionable, rated 2 pts higher than 8 months ago, I prefer bigger Cabs.

Wonderful wine right now. Opened up after about an hour of air. Integrating well, great silky mouthfeel, medium finish. I'm glad I have more

I had to take my last two bottles of this to a friends get together. I wish I had saved one for a couple of years from now. This is a solid, enjoyable wine. I made sure I used a vinturi to pour into a decanter and was able to let it sit for an hour. Once poured, the first sip got several great comments that you love to hear - "Wow, this is REALLY good". I pretty much try …

P&P. Expressive nose of cassis, chocolate and tobacco. Medium plus mouthfeel with Black currants, dark cherry, earth notes and mocha. Medium tannic finish.

Very nice wine and I think a great value at $17. My wife and I had it with some casual dinner and I am taking my last glass now into the jacuzzi. Very closed upon popping, so used Vinturi for half glass and decanted the rest for about 2 hours. Wine has opened up and is excellent!

Pop-n-pour, ready to go... huge nose, powerful bouquet of anise, lavender and mint. Ripe fruit, very extracted, sweet on the palate with tastes of plums and cherries. Would pay $30 - $40 for this. A steal at $15

Definitely a Napa cab. Olive, lavendar and feminine, medium bodied.

Decanted 3hrs, medium density cherry color, wife gets dark cherry, earthy/rainforest and alcohol nose, medium mouthfeel with some tannins/acid on mid-tongue finish, easy drinker, expected more complexity after reading Cameron's review, worth $14 to me but nothing special. Day2: Seems thinner with more acid/alcohol finish, not sure how this will age in the cellar.

Popped and poured, medium plum color, strange nose, could be menthol per Cameron's notes, light body, strange finish, I now understand "What Napa has worked so hard to eliminate in much of their wine, ..." comment, definite pass for me.
