Extremely complex on the nose, but certainly declining fast. Too much acid for so little structure, and the fruit notes jump all over, confusing your senses. Foul acetic angle. Was not meant to be kept.

Garnett red in color. On the nose there is a vanilla, cherry pipe tobacco aroma. There is also some rocky minerality and some alcohol. On the palate I get red fruits like cherry and raspberry. There is a sweet cough syrup flavor on the mid palate and then finishes a little thin and disappears quick. At 7.00 you really cant go wrong. This is a fruity easy drinking wine and Im not complaning.

Lots of dark fruit and some spice, but not much acidity on the backend. A great cellar defender for $7. Pull this bottle out for guests that like "smooth" wine. Pair with pizza and serve slightly chilled.

We've always enjoyed this wine, softer and gentler than some of the other Ordonez offerings, but nonetheless interesting and a super value for the money. Deep purplish red, plummy aroma, sweet bright cherry fruit, nice acidity.

A good wine at any price but at this proce this is outstanding. Good finish and well balanced. I would gave thought the alcohol was Lowe than 14. This is a good change of pace wine for those that have not ventured out of California reds. You could serve this to any guests and they would be hard pressed to know what you paid.

Needs a bit of air to get going. Pepper on the nose. Medium bodied and fresh with good acidity. Solid QPR.

opened before it's time, I think. Huge metalic nose on the pop, and ridiculously deep purple color. Decanted in an effort to save it but it remained tight as a drum for over 3 hours with incredible heat and grip. The next day, it had mellowed considerably and let the fruit out. Must serve with food. Might buy another to lay it down for a year. Decent QPR but not Ordonez at his best.

The wine is dark purple, bright, with a strong bouquet of raspberries. At first it comes as a light and too fruity wine, but after 1 hour int he decanter it shows solid structure, excellent balance, and relatively long finish. At this price, it is an incredible buy.

Very bright aromas of sweet cherries and black berries, Smooth with little tannins but a bit of tang or tartness at the end, with interesting pepper notes as well, good wine for the price, an extra point for being interesting and different.
