Brooklyn Winery Chardonnay Barrel Fermented

This bottle was a real treat. Opened to a nice nose of pear and honeysuckle. The wine poured a darker straw color into the glass. The wine itself had notes of almonds, honey, and peach. The entry has a bit of acidity, tamed lemon, mild tart, pear, honeysuckle. The middle of the wine was a little more buttery, almond and a hint of burned butter.
