The Willows Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Open for 3 days & didn't change much. More barossa than Cabernet. Deep red with a sweet nose, noticeable alcohol. Good for its type but my preference is now more restrained

Stunning nose of mint, chocolate and euculyptus. Smooth palate that perhaps doesnt quite live up to expectations. Still lovely though and clearly bit of an enigma this one - sometimes 'ho 'and at other times, quite delicious. Think its entered its prime drinking window though.

Bit disappointed this time. Yes, there was chocolate, mint and blackcurrant etc, but overall I found this a tad to syrupy and one dimensional.

Deep garnet, herby leafy with some chocolate. Some mint, eucalyptus and olive but not a lot. Nice with out being spectacular

Had half of it one night and found it ok but nothing great – then had the second half of the bottle the next day and loved it. Hint of mocha, chewy tannnis, lovely nose – beautiful. Need to decant for a few hours at least it seems?
