Fausse Piste Syrah La Pyramide

This nose is big! Scents of juicy blackberry syrup rise with perfumed character, and are supported by asphalt. Great acid races down the center, while huge, ripe blackberries roll across the palate. Floral flavors rise from the purple fruit towards the finish. The asphalt suggested by the nose contributes some structure on the mid palate, giving support that is welcome, since the tannins are quite light.
