The aroma is predominantly indicative of dark fruits such as raspberry and currant, and there is a faint hint at blueberry. The front pallet is dominated by blackberries with just a hint of caramel sweetness. There is a bit of oak and a light roasted coffee/earthy flavor off the mid and back pallet.

Nearly black in color with minimal fading to purple near the rim. Flavor was very dark fruit forward with less of a hardcore jammy profile than last tasting. Decent wine for the price.

Very dry, chalky cab with a very heavy red color .. yet the wine drinks pretty smoothly. A very different interesting wine that I thought at first I was not going to like, but ended up liking it.

Ok on the nose. Deep purple. Heavy bodied. Tannins not well developed, resulting in comparisons to syrup. Unusual taste, almost medicinal, like drinking cough syrup. Still, some will find this wine "smooth" and thus will like it. I tolerated it and wished I had bought something more complex.

opened poured and drank thick and syrupy - all the fruit seemed to run together overwhelming like a spoonful of ice cream topping - reminiscent of early zins will buy & try another after decanting for a day or so

Very dark and inky. Decanted for an hour or so. A bold heavy looking wine but opened nicely and drank well. On sale for $13 and well worth it.
