Love and meritage Cabernet-Merlot

Tasty, although a little heavy on the oak. Blackberry, blueberry, cocoa, and vanilla. Beautiful texture. Nicely integrated tannins. Strong QPR for $14.

Wonderful nose of dark cherry, plum, and earth. Still a little tight. Needs at least an hour to open up. Nose carried through on the palate with well integrated tannins, although there was a slight rough edge. Not overly complex, but very tasty for $14. Day 2 the rough edges smoothed out and the flavors took on more of what you'd get in a South American wine. Interesting.

I found this to be very good QPR, strong fruit forward nose and a bit tight at first opening, but drank over 3 days and day 2 it was excellent...day 3 a tad off. For the price it is excellent.
