Dried red cherry on nose and palate, supported with very savory spice, roasted meat hints and earth. Bright textures seem nearly minerally with good+ length and freshness. Easily holding in there, nowhere near fading away.

Ripe and mature black cherry and plum aromas with sweet spice. Palate slightly more mature, but finishes with good edge and balance. Probably better a few years back when brighter.

Red berries, slight minty note on the nose. Slight alcohol on both nose and in the mouth. Not the prettiest of wines, but a good effort nonetheless.

Red cherry aromas and flavors with licorice and earth. Medium weight and concentration, with a slightly expanding finish. More nuance with more time open. Drinking well now, should drink well for 5+ years.

This continues to be a delicious wine with balanced fruit. It seems a little lighter now, perhaps near the end of time. I think it is drink up time.

Delicious fruity wine that went very well with beef with brown sauce and a vegetarian dish. The half bottle left was gassed (N2), stoppered and refrigerated for four days. As it warmed, it continued to be delicious, well balanced and wonderful. Glad I still have a few in the cellar. Hope you do too.

Again, a really lovely nose of dried red fruits, spice, earth, dust, leather. Definitely showing its age with brick colors and fruit that is now somewhat dried out and slightly oxidized. Despite the lack of fruit, it is rather complex with secondary & tertiary flavors, and has a nice, silky texture with good balance. The bitterness of a prior bottle was not evident t in this one. Will not score as I think it peaked a few years ago, and …

very good mix of red fruit, then mahogany and cola; mineral and earth then kick in. Still a bit primary and round at this point.

Popped and poured. Attractive red and black cherry aromas with some anise hints. Same fresh fruit on palate, slightly better and more interesting with the good acidity and textures. Very charming now, better in a year or two, even if not the most nuanced vintage for Claudia's Choice.

Wow - what a nose! Nice combination of dried red fruits, leather, mushrooms, damp earth and a hint of barnyard. Lean, silky texture with a medium body and a medium finish. Surprisingly sour/bitter (think grapefruit), as I did not expect this based on the nose. Also definitely showing its age as the fruit flavors are subdued and the wine is dominated by the secondary/tertiary flavors. I love everything about this wine except for the bitterness, as it (literally) leaves a …

Drank yesterday and with no notes, but this was a very enjoyable pinot. Showing some age with a brick-ish color, and aromas and flavors of leather and earth that are a nice match with the dark fruit. Solid, medium+ finish. This not a fruit bomb and I enjoyed the subtle, complex flavors and the food friendly texture.

cork was pushed up about 1/16th", with signs of seepage. Wine inside was attenuated and showing volatile acidity. Bummer.

Earthy with hints of truffle and black cherry fruit. Perfect with wild mushroom risotto.

Loved this wine! Served it at New Years dinner party. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to let it breathe and drank it immediately upon opening. Nevertheless, it was fantastic with tons of beautiful dark cherry and extract.
