Medium ruby purple, very pronounced notes of sandalwood, coffee, tobacco, menthol on the palate, almost heavy, super intense. The palate is hot, alcohol not so high but burns, ripe black cherry and cassis, concentrated, good acidity snd tannins, long finish, very well made wine, i would have loved to have less heat on the palate

Intense aromas of black, spicy, sweet, fruit. Some leathery and meaty notes too. Peppery. Lifted, slightly menthol. Palate is just as intense, though has a polished edge to it. A touch hot from the alcohol maybe. But lingers for a very long time.

A very fun wine to drink and discuss; the group didn't have a lot of experience with Carmenere. Enjoyed by a wide range of palates. Tannins nicely rounded, oak reasonably integrated on the palate although after time in the glass it became a bit heavy on the nose. At a nice point in its evolution.

On the palate the wine started with intense red and black currant and berry flavours, followed by a spicy mid-palate, then red and black currant and spices again, paired with vanilla, mocha and some liquorice on the medium to long finish. The wine felt …

Inky deep purple in colour, very youthful in appearance. The nose is to die for - lots of ripe black berry and forest fruits, with a good dollop of vanilla and some spice/pepper and mocha notes lurking in the depths. The splash of petit verdot in the blend gives it a fragrant lift too. Palate is exceptionally silky with a shed load of fruit. Tannins are present but nicely integrated making it very enjoyable now. But the acidity and fruit …
