Incredible wine and incredible value. In some ways lighter than its cousin Brunello, but more expressive. None of the tarry brooding you find in Brunellos. Bright red fruit, including cherry and strawberry. Great structure including just enough tannic backbone and balanced acidity. Long finish. So sad to get to the bottom of the bottle.
