Babcock Carignan Opportunity Knocks Santa Ynez Vineyard

Had with ribeye. It was a great match. Started out with bright red fruit notes and measured tannins. As the wine had time to breathe, the notes deepened, and a spicy clove like note became prominent. Nice complexity emerged. We loved the wine. It is best with an hour or more to breathe in decanter.
