Tan Fruit Chardonnay Eyrie Vineyard

Enjoyed at dinner with winemaker Jim Maresh who brought this gem. Made from a very small amount of fruit from the original vines planted in 1966 (Jim has a long relationship with the Lett family) under his "negotiant"/experimental label. This was lightly smokey, with layers of ripe apple, pear and citrus. Moderately high acidity and great texture. Beautifully balanced. Lovely!
