Still youthfull, but will it ever be a balanced wine? To much tannines, to much acidity, to many hard edges...

This is a wine to chew not to drink. As expected it went great with grilled meat as it is not easily overpowered. Balance between fruit, spices and tannin is very good. As it got warmer in the carafe, alcohol stuck out and it lacked qualities as a soloist.

14,8%, deep ruby color with violet tones, with so much fruit (prunes) on the nose like a typical Malbec, floral notes, dark chocolate and subtle wood & spices in the back. This is dense, very tanninous, with medium to low acidity and a very nice taste of ripe juicy fruit.

Monthly tasting club "The Tasting Club" 2016-?; South America (@ RvD) : The bouquet shows cherry yoghurt, metal and vanilla. On the palate dark cherries and berries, some green impressions, vanilla, a bit rustic. Good acidity and slightly sticky tannin. The least complex wine in this tasting so far, but certainly an ok and full bodied wine. Still youthful.

A nose like an italian Primitivo with raisins and dark cherry. In the palate still very young since the tannins are not integrated yet. Next bottle in two years. 89+
