Aromatic with big ripe fruit. Lot's of structure with long mid-taste flavors. Tannins are not in the way. This wine needs a lot more time

My first Oregon pinto noir. Had some burgundy traits. Nose of crushed rocks, violets and red fruits, taste is bright strawberries and crushed rocks/slate. Very enjoyable, medium long finish. Developed in the glass for about 2 hours. My first Oregon pinto noir.

Decent color, a bit of fading. The nose is very aromatic, showing raspberry, spice, oak, minerals, flowers, and herbs. On the palate, this is barley medium bodied with decent concentration and good acidity. There is a good elegance here, but the tannins are rustic and there is little length.

Disappointing. Weak, "watered down" just on the verge of carbonation.

Has been too long to write a formal note, but I remember us all enjoying this.

Outstanding nose and medium fruit on first taste. Outstanding example of an Oregon Pinot. Will go back for more!

Tasted at Kuni BMW wine event. Much more structure and a bit deeper flavor profile than the regular 2007 Estate. Lots of tobacco flavors, with the strawberry and cranberry fruit hitting the midpalate. Finish is slightly tannic, making me think this could easily age another 5 years.
