Niepoort Douro Alonso Quijano

Intense nose, raspberry, chocolate, fig, raisin, brandied cherry, blueberry, kirsch, and balsamic and sweet-spice character (sandalwood, maybe?). Those beautiful glass-filling Port-like aromas are less profound on the palate, which while pleasant, isn�t particularly expressive. It�s easy drinking though, and I get the feeling it�ll get mad love from guests.
