Caparsa Rosso di Caparsa

Mostly-ripe strawberry, red cherry, tart cranberry, and dusty road. High acid. High tannins that are a little stalky. Medium body overall. Lean texture, lighter on the palate. I was told it's made in the old Chianti style, when white grapes were part of the blend. A bit of a restrained austere style that's not necessarily my personal preference.
