On the palate lemon, green apple, peach, honeydew melon, cinnamon. Dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, long finish. An accomplished Chablis Premier Cru.

Ordered from a restaurant's wine list and consumed over a two-hour interval, this straw-colored Chardonnay offers aromas of green apples, tangerines, Anjou pears, wet stones and jasmine. Medium-bodied, freshly acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (13%) and without detectable wood, it delivers flavors congruent with the aromas and has good midpalate density. Pale yellow. Aromas of orange blossom, green apple, orange zest, roasted almond and crushed rock. Lemony acids and gingery bitterness. Palate of grilled lemon, candied orange, apple blossom and oyster shell. A young, structure-driven and complex wine with citrus fruit, beautiful acidity and fine perfumed and mineral finish. Tasted alongside Albert Bichot, Blanchot, 2017, and the present wine was pure, crisp and traditional Chablis whereas the matched wine showed complexity, integrated oak and a truck load of minerality.

Light golden in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of citrus notes lemons/limes, grapefruit & pears with mineral/flinty overtones, some floral notes, spices, stony & chalky. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe citrus flavors of lemons/limes, grapefruit & green apples, chalky, spices, stony & minerals. Lingering crisp finish. Drinks quite well at present with extend airing but should develop slightly further with additional aging.
