Decisamente lungo. Molto sedimento. Bel Brunello invecchiato bene.

Still rather young for a sinewy, transparent, high octane Brunello. This is the real deal and not a fruitfu**er :-) Vinet efter plopp var ett kort och urholkat vin utan stuns någonstans.

Wine is a few years past it's prime. Was excellent for the first 30 minutes and then went 1 dimensional and flat.

4 hour ox, quick decant. Very fresh with acid backbone and good fruit. Vertical and velvety with good length. Very good older Brunello.

Wow, this is exactly what aged Brunello should taste like. Rich cherry and savory, sweet spices with just the right amount of texture. Neither too big nor too light. Just perfect for a 1995 that very few people seem to have tried or heard of. It required about 1/2 hour to start to open up, and then we loved it. Drink in the next ~3 years.

Opened with a quite tannic nose and palette, that improved over the course of the evening. I eventually rated it as well as the 2004 Le Stanze Del Poliziano or the 1999 Campogiovanni San Felice.

Decanted about 2pm and immediately recognized that it was ready to go. Rebottled(Double Decanted). Perfect with Mario's Pasta w Roasted Tomatoes. We easily drank the bottle and loved it. We purchased it at the Antinori property near Panzano on 10/11/2001. I believe this is the inaugaural vintage. In a perfect mature spot right now. Excellent bouquet, beautiful slight anise finish.

A lovely bottle showing good maturity and at a good place. Decanted for sediment no official TN -we had the 97 as well (SBS) which will be even better but has got a few more years of development ahead of itself.

Gave this an 8 hr slow ox & a decant for sediment. No official note taken but with some time in the glass this showed lovely dark fruit aromatics with notes of old leather and some coffee. very smooth & soft a pleasure to drink-did not strike me as modern and a bit less impressive than I remember the 97 to be. Overall a great bottle at a good place in it's evolution.

Very smooth for a Brunello. Fine tannins starting to fade. Consume soon.

Good wine, with a very typical BdM profile. Not exciting or interesting in any way, and probably past its prime.

Ruby in the glass, aromas of tar, licorice, vanilla, black cherry. Definitely mature, with a bit of earth and spice mixed in on the palate with the aromas. Well balanced and smooth with tannins still active.

still good...however, it is less enjoyable than the first bottle i tasted in 2000...perhaps, it is unable to cellar for such a long period of time...perhaps better younger and more livier

Ruddy dark ruby colour. Aromas of chocolate, currant, black plums, black cherry, violets. Full-bodied, lush, still present tannins, with black fruit (blackcurrant), violets, earth. Medium-length finish, 30s, with black fruit.

The wine appeared fresh, with a clear ruby color. Muted nose at first, with swirling, some cherry and smoky aromas come forth. Somewhat light on the palate, perhaps a touch dilute. Lacks intensity and focus. Disappointing. Two bottles tasted, consistent notes.

Opaque garnet/purple colour. Aromas of vanilla, black licorice, black figs, black cherries, earth, and spice (cardamom?). Big wine with replays from palate. Long, lingering finish with figs and vanilla. Drinking beautifully now with an hour or so of air, but there's no rush to drink this wine. It should easily go another 5 years.
