Ruby red in color, this wine revealed wild cherry, violet and anise on the nose. The mouth feel brought subtle tannins and additional notes of tobacco and nutmeg. The finish was medium, bordering on long in length with the tannins becoming velvety in texture and added tastes of vanilla bean. Tasted at Talula's Garden in Philly as part of an 8 course menu with wine pairings, it was an outstanding pairing with our Sixth Course of Brined Berkshire Pork Chop, …

Nice cherry flavors. Not complex with light tannins. But @ $11 bucks it is a good everyday wine. Pairs well with pizza or pasta.

Very nice bottle to go with chicken marsala and gorgonzola gnocchi, chocolatey with some blackberry...we enjoyed it especially for the price.
