A solid Cali Cab from a Pinot producer. Lots of mature cherry and some plum, notions of cedar and bell pepper. Round still sweet fruit in the mouth with softer texture.

Very muted upon opening, but blossomed into a tasty and well-structured wine: fruit is still alive, and it has some secondary flavors; far more pedigree than most calcabs; no need to wait for more maturation
