Drinking nicely, starting to develop petroleum and honeysuckle notes. In a nice place with a pleasant acid line and drive still present. I was quite surprised at how it was drinking.

Rieslings and Grenaches of North London (Crouch End Cellars) : Lovely way to start the tasting. Quite open and full in style, good balance, no deficiency of acidity but very easy to gulp down. The cuddly side of dry Riesling!

Lemony nose with a touch of woodsmoke. Exceedingly dry, stony and mineral. A little unfocused and angular, asymmetrical. Not very exciting or intense. Dies fairly rapidly on the finish.

A very attractive powerful nose. Full bodied wine with intensity, depth and beautiful mineral flavour. Rich, ripe acidity in the palate. Great wine with finesse. Paired with fish and roasted peppers
