I like Delaire's wines, which seem to be closer to old world styles than new. I would have mistaken this for a Sancerre in a blind tasting. Grass and gooseberry, with some tropical fruit, but in the background, not overwhelming. Then quite a complex mineral finish. Bright acidity, very dry. Went well with tonight's pork belly. Good value, I will get more.

KL 427 AMS 2 DXB : Pale, lemon-green, watery rim. Medium developing nose of gooseberry, ripe apples and rip green fruits, a hint of grass only. Off-dry, medium acidity, alcohol and body. Medium(+) flavours of ripe apples, grapefruit, gooseberries, "more fruityness than herbaceousness". Well balanced and more complexity and structure than expected, intriguing. Medium(+) length with fresh pleasant finish.
