Very nice but not over the top. Nice bouquet. Just a little light. Perhaps past it's prime

thin. alcoholic. mid palate muted fruit of dried cherries. Past its prime, no doubt, but probably never too good to begin with.

This was an excelent value. A local retailer had marked down their remaining stock of 2+ cases from $15 to $5 per bottle. I bought a few and opened one at a friends house this weekend. Still drinking well although I'm not sure how much longer this will hold. Soild red fruit notes with some spice on the finish. Light tannins. Good balance. 87 points.

Pinots of the World Offline (Rococo Restaurant, Glasgow) : 14% (on the front label, 14.5% on the back label) A lightish ruby. Sweet fruit and VA on the nose - very musarey. Very high-toned. Open and high-toned on the palate too. Restrained sweet fruit on the palate, but there's a bit of a harsh tone on the finish. This didn't really do it for me: a bit too musarey for a wine that's not Musar! Good/Very Good.

A real surprise. Berry aroma. Smoth on palate. Light tannins. Wow, a great find on the $3.99 rack

After sitting on this case for a little while, it was time to taste and post. This is a nice example of a well balanced Pinot Noir. Upon opening the bottle the smell of fresh berries jumped out of the bottle. The entire room was consumed with the smell of this wine. It was poured into a serving decanter whcih also helped aerate the juice a bit more and also exposed me a more complex aroma, less for and maybe …

Heritage BBQ: Always a pleasure--great character and well-bal.; beaut. nose of spice, meats, and some flowers. Complex bouquet, smooth, great fin.***A great benchmark of what a good PN should be for $23.

Valerie’s: meaty, big & masculine nose; dark purple, huge fin.; some dark fruit.***Almost too in your face and ripe with fruit after the generic passe-tout-grains.
