Oak Grove Zinfandel Reserve

Vanilla notes on aroma, bright fruity notes at the beginning, deep plummy at the end. Seems like some residual sugar, but tannic enough that it balances

not much body. Pretty translucent for a zin. Almost no nose except for a little strawberry jello and slight mustiness. The taste is better than the nose. very slight tannin with a little pepper in the middle and musty at the end. No complexity. Not much length here but that's probably a good thing with this wine. Not a bad wine...but average. I've had better $7 wines.

Not much body nor color to this wine. Tasted very thin/weak. Musty aftertaste. Not recommended.
