la Murola Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Purple with a slight fade to red on the rim. Moderately limpid. Bouquet is clearly Montepulciano. It has that scent similar to concorde grape jam but of course more refined. Plum and raspberry dominate the palate. Mild acidity and tannins make it a simple easy drinking wine. Great wine for a big marinara pasta dish. Very well balanced for this style. Not particularly hard as it isn't a complex wine but still very nice anyway. Firm finish. 8/6/6/8/7 - 35/85
