Opened it up and compared the first sip with another one a few (4) hours later. Definitely needs some aeration and time to develop. Earthy tones accompanied by minmial fruits and imo a little too much acidity at first. Good but not astonishing - i‘m missing some of the fruity vibe that was expected. Let’s see what another day does to the rest.

Unglaublich intensive Beeren, leichte Würzigkeit und immens saftig, herzhaft - für 16 Euro der Hammer schlechthin, unbedingt Gästen servieren !

Somewhat amarone-like style in this Veneto wine. But made with very different grapes; Marzemino, Sangiovese and Cab Sauv. Lots of cherries in the nose. Powerfull palate, yet crisp. Tannins certainly present, but in a way that fits the palate well.
