OS Winery (Owen Sullivan) Ulysses Sheridan Vineyard

My wife and her friends drank this bottle so I can't write a note, but they certainly enjoyed it a lot

We drank this with Christmas dinner and it was peaking perfectly. Tannins had mellowed gracefully, and wine had developed a nice complexity, losing some of the fruit forward I got out of earlier tastings. Very well balanced. Now I'm out. Too bad.

Tasted alongside a Quilceda Creek and a Leonetti and this stood up for itself very well. Very intense fruit flavors on the dark berry side. Just wanted to hold in the mouth and savor. Wish I had more than just one left.

Interesting - sweet and ripe, good complexity of flavor however needed more to merit an outstanding score. This was very pleasant and tasty wine and I am glad I aged this for three years. Delicious and sweet, good wine.

Beautiful wine. Really intense and sweet on the nose, almost minty with high alcohol hints. Absolutely delicious on the palate with sweet, ripe, mouthfilling, black cherry, currant fruit. well balanced with soft dry tannins and juicy sweet acidity. Lovely long ripe finish. A great wine which should only get better. Need to get some more to drink and age...
