A fresh, vibrant 5 year old Nebbiolo. On nose: a ghost of eucalyptus, cherry pits, and subtle but present floral nuances. On palate: above flavour notes in focus, with mild tobacco, forest floor, rosemary and a ghost of green olives....very savoury, and food friendly, after a 2 hour decant, clean acidity, light- medium body, clear, transluscent garnet red in glass...played well with the pasta puttanesca, this evening.

Well bodied

Surprisingly enjoyable at dinner, good QPR. Well balanced, tannins softened nicely with good fruit showing after 2 hour decant. Medium bodied, certainly not a big wine but an excellent expression of the DOC. Five years seemed to be the magic number for this wine but perhaps can go a bit longer.

3 Winos and a Providore (The four seasons hotel, the rocks, sydney) : Sour cherry, perfumed, pot pourri, surprisingly fruit sweet. Fruit tea tannins are medium plus intensity, similar sweet fruit profile on the palate, a tiny smidge of red liquorice note.

Di media e gradevole profumazione. Al palato risulta caldo, secco ed abbastanza equilibrato, tannini ben nascosti. Media corposità e persistenza, piacevolmente beverino. Ottimo nebbiolo.

Medium to full body, bright garnet with brick rims color. Intense aroma of typical Nebbiolo: red fruits, flowers, mushrooms and wet forest floor. Complex palate of strawberry, spices, tar notes following by young tannins and balanced acidity of wild berries on long finish. Food friendly, enjoyable with grilled veal ribs. Serve 18ºC - 20ºC. Open two hours ahead but better drink in year.

Elegant nose. Cherries, roses, black pepper and some ceder. Nice structure.

The nose showed bright cherry, dried roses, dusty spice and hints of cedar. On the palate, I found silky textures contrasted by zesty acids, creating a juicy expression with tart red berries, hints of spice and slow mounting tannin. The finish was long and structured displaying cheek-pucking tannins, lingering dried red fruits and spice.
