Monthly Tasting Group HWS #139; Weissburgunder (By MO) : In the bouquet white fruits and anise. On the palate a bit sparkling, white fruits like pears, white peach and licorice. Good and fresh citrus acidity. Beautiful wine.

The bouquet comes with stone fruit, some nuts (even almonds ;-) true to its name) and a good minerality. The palate is medium bodied with a good persistence. To merit an even higher score I would expect some more floral varietal characteristics. I guess this will be nice to drink over the next 5 years.
